After seven years, Sara Bareilles is sharing the newest additions to her incredible discography through a series of shows across the country. Sara hopes that “Good Grief provides some kind of comfort or catharsis”, and she’s surely sharing that with the live renditions of her 14 new songs! This comeback to the studio sets the tone for her discography, and although the album is anchored to melancholic themes, her supporters are just delighted that she has released new material and is ready to go on her Good Grief Tour.

Before the upcoming release of Good Grief, Sara Bareilles had already been recognized as an established songwriter and live performer on Broadway. Her discography already features six studio albums: Careful Confessions, Little Voice, Kaleidoscope Heart, The Blessed Unrest, What’s Inside: Songs from Waitress, and Amidst the Chaos. She also has five extended plays and three live albums and has achieved international recognition through her famous tracks Brave, King of Anything, and Winter’s Song. For her newest album, she was later joined by Taylor Swift’s frequent collaborator and fellow two-time Grammy Award winner Aaron Dessner and engineer and mixer Bella Blasko to refine the work at the well-known Long Pond Studios in New York. The album’s first single is called Home, and it is inspired by her conversation with Anderson Cooper and Stephen Colbert. She describes it as “an invitation and a tone setter for the specificity and depth of this record”.

The depth of Sara Bareilles’ growing discography will be showcased here at the Dolby Theatre on Wednesday, 14th October 2026! 3,400 concert guests will enjoy hearing her remarkable live vocals through the venue’s unparalleled acoustics that use the Dolby Atmos Sound System, ensuring crystal-clear quality of sound throughout the show. The guests will find their seats evenly spread across side boxes and three main levels, allowing them to have spectacular sightlines of the stage. For this tour, Sara is working with PLUS1 to dedicate a dollar from every ticket purchase to the Jed Foundation, and she is also giving the net proceeds of VIP upgrades to the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
