When the Good Grief Tour dates were announced, the fans of Sara Bareilles became more eager to hear the singer’s 14 new tracks. When asked about her motivations in creating Good Grief, the singer shared that “This whole collection of songs felt like transmissions rather than a deliberate attempt to make sense of the world.” This statement was highlighted during the singer’s documentary premiere in New York, where she also performed after the screening. The future audiences of the tour are invited to feel safe to dwell in their most personal emotions and “listen to each other’s stories”.
Dealing with her personal experiences has inspired Sara Bareilles to make a meaningful comeback to the studio. The singer, who first gained international recognition for her work on the Waitress musical, is considered one of the most capable singer-songwriters who can excellently perform demanding ballads and live musical shows. Her versatility has won her two Grammy Awards from nine notable nominations, and she has also earned three nominations for the prestigious Tony Awards. From her Careful Confessions in 2004 to her work Amidst the Chaos in 2019, the singer’s discography is a reflection of her depth as a person and a songmaker, and it will only be made even more moving by her new work, Good Grief.
The second show of Sara Bareilles at the Dolby Theatre will take place on Tuesday, 13th October 2026, and the singer is nearly selling out all of her shows for the Good Grief Tour!
